We enjoy performing and reliving the music of our youth. We all went to the same middle school and played in rock bands at the time. The songs we perform allow the listener to relive memorable musical moments that brought previous generations joy and a reason to believe and dream.

We are a dance band and get our greatest joy seeing people smile as they boogie down! But we also provide the most intimate of concert settings for beautiful renditions that will take your breath away.

Presenting The TUNERIDERS!

Ken Cooper has played rock and roll and blues in the East Bay for over 40 years. A pro musician, he has played for many successful bands in the area, including Mersey Beat, who still does large scale gigs. Ken also does many solo gigs. Lightning rock solos illustrate his highly developed picking technique and his explosive expression. Slow, smooth acoustic ballad offerings are also in his repertoire. As you can see, Ken is a versatile musician. Also, his tenor voice will drive you to the dance floor & will provide excellent layering for the TUNERIDERS.

Rick Abbott – lead vocals, rhythm guitar. Rick holds a music degree, studio composition, from Brigham Young University. He is a successful choral director, musical director and singer/actor in musical theater. He started playing guitar during the early sixties and has played in many top forty dance bands. His influences are Santana, Eagles, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dave Mason, Allman Bros, Everly Bros. Doobie Bros, etc.

Duane Campbell- Bass guitar & vocals. Duane is a seasoned veteran who has toured the U.S. as an original member of the Catfish Hodge Band recording several albums, opening for national acts. Always pushing his boundaries, he can be seen playing with a jazz trio, supporting solo artists or putting the R&B into The Rhythm Method Band. With The Tuneriders Duane rejoins his very first band mate, Rick Abbott, to resurrect the innocence and first love of the music of their youth.
